Terms of Use
Last updated: 31 July 2026
By downloading or using Punctual (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Punctual on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.
In-app purchases & subscriptions
- Punctual offers an optional “Pro” upgrade as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase.
- All payments are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings.
- The Lifetime option is a single payment and does not renew.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to App Store policy.
Alarm reliability
Punctual uses Apple’s AlarmKit to ring alarms. While we work hard to make alarms reliable, alarm delivery ultimately depends on iOS and your device’s state. You are responsible for verifying your alarms work for your needs (for example, by testing). The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
No alarm app can guarantee that an alarm rings. An alarm may not sound because of, among other things: iOS delaying or withholding the alert; the device being switched off, out of battery, restarting, or in a failed state; a system or app update; storage or permission changes; the app being removed from the device; or a defect in the app or in iOS itself.
We strongly recommend setting at least two independent alarms for anything you cannot afford to miss - for example one in Punctual and one in another app, on another device, or on a separate physical alarm clock. Do not rely on Punctual as your only alarm for critical wake-ups such as flights, exams, medication, or work shifts.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arin IT Solutions shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or losses - including missed alarms, oversleeping, missed appointments, flights, examinations, medication, work or income - arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, or from any alarm failing to sound, sounding late, or sounding at the wrong time. You use the app at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights as a consumer, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for fraud.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
